Lately, the rule of law seems to apply to ONE side of the political spectrum. The law is not gray, it’s black and white. If you break the law, you should be held accountable. I’ll do EVERYTHING in my power to hold DA’s accountable and ensure they’re prosecuting crime WHEREVER it happens. Measure 110 was a disaster, and I’ll continue to work with my Republican colleagues to find the best solutions that STOP enabling criminals and keeps law-abiding Oregonians SAFE.
Have you noticed the elite’s agenda lately? The education system, and many of its radical leaders, ARE AFTER your kids while you get pushed aside. This must STOP. I’ll work to help parents take their child’s education back under control by empowering them SCHOOL CHOICE or EDUCATION CHOICE, get radical politics OUT of the classrooms, and hold all of those accountable who trample on PARENTS’ RIGHTS.
Oregon is one of the least business friendly states in the nation. Companies such as Nike, Intel, REI, Dutch Bros. and other local businesses are sending jobs and expansion plans elsewhere or leaving the state entirely. Heavy taxation and regulation are the main culprits and Oregon workers/families suffer as a result. We must repeal the Corporate Activity Tax (CAT Tax), stop the power-hungry democrats from tolling the freeways - NO TOLLS!, and eliminate barriers to entry for small businesses.
The Green New Deal and the Climate Change hysteria are destroying our energy security and will propel tens of thousands of Oregonians into poverty. I support the REPEAL of carbon taxes and vehemently oppose the elite’s agenda to eliminate gas-powered vehicles in Oregon by 2030. I support plans to retain our robust fossil fuel energy infrastructure and reintroduce nuclear energy. I will fight for our forest industry while being good stewards of our land, protecting Oregon’s most beautiful natural habitats to conserve our State.
Hundreds of thousands of Oregonians don’t have faith in our elections. This is a problem consistently dismissed by Democrats. I WILL NEVER stop advocating for election integrity measures, such as the cleaning of our voter rolls, maintaining the option of hand counting our ballots by humans - not computers, and updating voter ID systems. We MUST ensure that only American citizens vote and vote ONCE. Any instances of fraud should be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted in a BIPARTISAN manner without a statute of limitations. Enough is enough.
Oregon cities face a homelessness crisis that is a direct result of failed DEMOCRAT policies. Rather than addressing the root problem(s), these career politicians in Oregon passed inhumane laws that allow homeless camping, which infringe on the private property rights of others. As long as I’m your Representative, I’ll work to put an end to these nonsensical laws, protecting private property rights, while prioritizing the care of our elderly, our Veterans, our handicapped, and other vulnerable populations.
