Lately, the rule of law seems to apply to ONE side of the political spectrum. The law is not gray, it’s black and white. If you break the law, you should be held accountable. I’ll do EVERYTHING in my power to hold DA’s accountable and ensure they’re prosecuting crime WHEREVER it happens. Measure 110 was a disaster, and I’ll continue to work with my Republican colleagues to find the best solutions that doesn’t enable criminals and keeps law-abiding Oregonians SAFE.
Have you noticed the agenda lately? The education system, and many of its radical leaders, ARE AFTER your kids while you get pushed aside. This must STOP. I’ll work to help parents take their child’s education back by empowering them with SCHOOL CHOICE, get radical politics the hell OUT of the classrooms, and hold those accountable who trample on PARENT’S RIGHTS.
Oregon is one of the least business friendly states in the nation. Companies such as Nike, Intel, REI, Dutch Bros. and other local businesses are sending jobs and expansion plans elsewhere or leaving the state entirely. Heavy taxation and regulation are the main culprits and Oregon workers/families suffer as a result. We must repeal the Corporate Activity Tax (CAT Tax), stop the power-hungry democrats from tolling the freeways - NO TOLLS!, and eliminate barriers to entry for small businesses.
The Green New Deal and the Climate Change hysteria is destroying our energy security and will propel tens of thousands of Oregonians into poverty. I support the REPEAL of carbon taxes and vehemently oppose the elimination of gas powered vehicles in Oregon by 2030. I support a plan that retains our robust fossil fuel energy infrastructure, reintroduces nuclear energy, while being good stewards of our land and protecting Oregon’s most beautiful natural habitats.
Hundreds of thousands of Oregonians don’t have faith in our elections. This is a problem consistently dismissed by Democrats. I WILL NEVER stop advocating for election integrity measures such as the cleaning of our voter rolls, maintaining the option of hand counting of ballots by humans - not computers, and updating voter ID systems. We MUST ensure that only American citizens vote and vote ONCE. Any instances of fraud should be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted in a BIPARTISAN manner.
Oregon cities face a homelessness crisis that is a direct result of failed DEMOCRAT policy. Rather than addressing the root problem(s) Oregon’s career politicians have passed laws that allow homeless camping, which infringe on the private property rights of others. As long as I’m your representative, I’ll work to put an end to these nonsensical laws and protect private property rights, while prioritizing the care of our elderly, our handicapped, and other vulnerable populations.
